Kindness resides in the same camp with those old-fashioned (often elusive) qualities of humility and grace, in short supply at least in our toxic politics these days. For a recent example of the latter, my good friend Stan recommends the acceptance speech of 2019 Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow of LSU. Stan, a past high school coach and math teacher, calls this ​seven-minute touching speech a feel-good experience. And we look forward to Stan's upcoming absorbing story of kindness. Hey, Stan, write that first sentence and things will flow! Caroline (and Stan as you'll see) are hard acts to follow but our stories of everyday kindness, of course, range from the straightforward to the profound, all worthy because of their personal inspiring nature.
